Tools built around a task
AdreTools is a web toolkit for PDFs, images, QR codes, text, links, developer utilities and other everyday tasks. Choose an operation, provide its input, review the result and save it. Available formats, options and limits depend on the individual tool.
Adre PDF is the mobile companion for PDF reading and access to AdreTools PDF workflows. Finding files and opening a saved PDF are device features; online tools may require an internet connection. Android file access supports the library features you enable. Granting an operating-system permission does not, by itself, upload your files to our website.
Where your PDF is processed
We use both browser processing and server processing. These are different data flows, so a single promise that every operation is local would be inaccurate. Check the overview before choosing a workflow, especially for confidential documents.

This describes current PDF workflows, not every website tool. Loading a browser tool still makes normal website and library requests. Local document processing does not mean the page is offline or makes no network requests.
Useful results, clear limits
- Keep the original. Inspect a downloaded result before replacing or deleting its source.
- Match the tool to the document. Complex layouts, scanned pages, fonts, forms, signatures and password protection can affect compatibility.
- Understand the trade-off. Compression can reduce image quality, conversion can change layout, and editing a signed PDF can invalidate existing signatures.
- Choose deliberately for sensitive files. Use a local workflow or an approved offline tool when your obligations prohibit uploading a document.

For a bug report, include the tool, browser or app version, device, approximate file size and steps that produced the problem. Prefer a redacted screenshot or non-sensitive sample. Do not send document passwords or private signing keys.
