Terms of Service

Conditions for using adretools.com and its online workflows through Adre PDF. Read the processing information before submitting a file.

Last reviewed:

1. Using the service

Use AdreTools only if you can accept these terms or have the permission and authority needed to use the service. When acting for an organisation, follow its security rules and obtain permission to submit its information. If you disagree with these terms, do not use the service.

These terms cover the website and connected online tools. App stores, operating systems and external services can impose additional terms. Data handling is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptable use

  • Submit only material you own or are authorised to process. Respect copyright, confidentiality and the rights of others.
  • Do not distribute malware, impersonate others, send spam, exploit vulnerabilities or share unlawful material.
  • Do not bypass access controls or deliberately overload the service with automated requests.
  • Use diagnostic tools only for systems you are authorised to examine.
  • Do not remove document protection to obtain unauthorised access.

Requests or room access may be restricted to protect users and service availability, address abuse or comply with law. This does not give us ownership of your content.

3. Your documents and processing permission

You retain the rights you hold in your content. Requesting an operation authorises the service to receive, temporarily handle, transform and return that input as needed for the operation. Sharing-room submissions also make information available to participants with room access.

Some tools work locally and others upload information. The PDF processing overview identifies current workflows. A description of a local tool does not mean every feature is local or offline.

Keep source files and inspect results. Conversion can change layout; extraction can omit unsupported content; compression can reduce quality; modification can affect forms, annotations, accessibility, metadata and signatures. Current PDF to Word and PDF to Excel converters process up to five pages. Check the output meets your requirements before relying on it.

4. Signing, verification and security

The signing tool uses an AdreTools service certificate. It does not establish your identity, your authority to act for someone else, agreement to a contract or entitlement to a qualified electronic signature. Certificate trust varies between readers and organisations.

Verification is a technical report based on the document, certificate information and validation conditions available at the time. It is not legal advice, proof that the document's statements are true, or a guarantee of acceptance by every authority. Ask the intended recipient or a qualified professional when legal effect matters.

Encryption and access controls address specific risks, but cannot make unsafe sharing safe. Preserve passwords securely. Recovery of a forgotten password or inaccessible file is not guaranteed.

5. Availability and results

The tools are provided as available. Formats, limits and operation times depend on the tool, browser, device, network and capacity. Features can change and service can be interrupted for maintenance or security. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, unlimited processing or compatibility with every document.

This is not a backup or archival service. Save results before leaving a workflow and keep independent copies. Rooms and shared files can become unavailable after expiration, creator deletion or server restart.

Guides provide general information and technical assistance. They do not replace professional advice where required.

6. Intellectual property and external services

AdreTools branding, original content and software remain subject to applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party software and materials retain their own licences. Your ownership of submitted content is unaffected.

External resources operate independently. Check their terms and privacy practices. A link is not a guarantee of the destination's availability, safety or accuracy.

7. Responsibility and mandatory rights

You are responsible for authorised use and for checking outputs. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is not warranted to be error-free, suitable for every purpose or continuously available.

Nothing here excludes responsibility, remedies or mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable law determines liability limits and dispute rights; these terms do not require you to waive protections or complaint channels granted by that law.

8. Contact and changes

Send enquiries, rights notices and complaints to ademrecber88@gmail.com. Identify the relevant page or room and describe your concern without unnecessarily redistributing sensitive material.

Terms may be updated when the service or requirements change. The date above identifies this version. Review significant changes before continuing to use the affected feature.
