Understand the AdreTools service signature
A service certificate, not your personal identity
The tool applies the AdreTools certificate. It does not verify your identity or authority, prove agreement to a contract or provide a qualified electronic signature. Reader and organisation trust settings can differ.
- Confirm you are authorised to upload and sign the document.
- Check that the intended recipient accepts a service certificate.
- Review any warning about an existing signature before proceeding.
- Save and inspect the signed file in the recipient's reader.
Preserve the source
Further changes or an additional signature can affect existing validation. If a transaction requires a personal credential or a recognised trust service, use the required signing workflow. Signing does not make the statements in the document true.
